Old Town Cape, Inc. has unveiled its latest Christmas ornament, a tribute to the iconic KFVS Television. This marks the 30th ornament in the series, with only 200 pieces produced, making it a rare and collectible item for enthusiasts. The ornament celebrates the historic KFVS Television studio and office, which stands 13 stories above downtown Cape Girardeau, a prominent landmark in the city. Alix Gasser, the new Executive Director of Old Town Cape, expressed pride in featuring KFVS Television, highlighting its significance as a symbol of quality local broadcasting. The ornament fundraiser aims to honor and preserve the rich history of downtown Cape Girardeau, with KFVS Television embodying the values and traditions of the area. The ornament is available for purchase at various locations, including Old Town Cape, CP McGinty Jewelers, Hutson’s Big Sandy Superstore, Jayson Jewelers, Pastimes Antiques, Shivelbine Music Store, Visit Cape, and Zickfield’s Jewelry & Gifts.
